Cover tube

Serves to protect the piston rod against dirt and damage.With long stroke lengths, the cover tube will prevent the piston rod from bending.

Warning: The cover tube will shorten the effective stroke of the gas strut by 2mm.

Locking tube

Serves to protect against unintentional folding or falling of flaps or hatches.It will also protect the piston rod against dirt and damage. We recommend using 1 locking tube per construction.

Warning: The locking tube will shorten the effective stroke of the gas strut by 20mm.
